Gingerbread Patriots are Megan McGaughy and brothers, John and Jeshua Brophy. Based out of Portland, Oregon, they have been playing shows together for about five years. They recently celebrated their second release entitled "Wax Lips and Hummingbirds." All recordings are done in the band's own "Value Owl" studio.

Their music is just this, a layer cake made of pure, melodic, indie pop slathered with ambient icing and topped off with little electronic sprinkles. The sweet male/female harmonies make for an added scoop of ice cream that really seals the deal.

They have shared the stage with Enon, Mates of State, Aqueduct, Roots of Orchis, The Octopus Project, The Handsome Family, Bettie Serveert and many more, with hundreds of other shows under their collective, fancy belt, including a showcase at SXSW 2006.
